Fantastic article! Especially in that it points out that tomboy girls are commonplace and accepted but society still shames the boys who lean towards femininity. It’s a scary world out there and I am terrified for my son who loves dresses and dolls as well as legos and toy swords but there is hope out there that we are moving to a safer, more accepting and supportive future.

He looked at me as if I were daft. “Because I want to be who I am!”
Children know exactly who they are. It may be completely different from how it was six months ago and it will probably change in the future but for right now, they know.
